ShareNow available in North America, Patricia Urquiola’s latest sofa design for Moroso is inspired by the East African Rift, the 6000 kilometre valley that runs from northern Syria to central Mozambique.
Urquiola's latest line is built up in several layers, imitating the earth's tectonic plates. Like the valley for which the series is named, Rift's sofas and chairs diverge, collide and overlap. The collection's eight pieces are made from stress-resistant polyurethane foam and polyester fibrefil on a hardwood frame, and include a small chair, a large chair, a settee, three Y-shaped islands and two L-shaped sofas.
Go poolside with Rift's nifty outdoor chairs, featuring a polyurethane shell and lacquered steel base. These chairs are available in two heights and six colours, including grey, violet and green, and can be used indoors as well.
